Our Story

At EaDough, we believe pastries & coffee make the world a better place. We find kindred spirits in other Houstonians who believe that a little caffeine and sugar help us to be the best version of ourselves.

Our vision is to bring Houston a refined, rustic pastry walk-up that showcases the talent, knowledge and expertise of our Executive Pastry Chef, Kripa Shenoy and her “butter half” Chef Kirthan Shenoy. The menu is composed of French pastries along with local provisions. Our pastry selection includes specialty baked goods such as our fresh kolaches, filled brioche, seasonal loaves, and a range of viennoiserie all with a gentle south Asian influence.

Meet Our Chefs

 Kripa is a creative and motivated pâtissier with   diverse experience and a broad range of education in pastry techniques. As a classically trained pastry chef, Kripa has spent the last 3 years under the   tutelage of some of the biggest names in the industry, successfully mastering French and Italian pastries. 


Houston-native Kirthan Shenoy attended culinary school in the International Culinary Institute in SoHo NYC, and then did an Italian studies program for a year at
ALMA in Colorno, Emilia Romagna, Italy. He thereafter remained in the Big Apple for key roles at prominent restaurants.


A shared passion for food brought the two chefs together. In 2016, the couple married, with Kripa relocating from India to join Kirthan in NYC.

A few years later, the Shenoys decided to return to Kirthan’s hometown of Houston to be closer to family. The couple opened EaDough Pastry & Provisions in 2022 to rave reviews, featuring decadent cookies and popular menu items such as Guava Cream Cheese Danishes, Blueberry streusel muffins, filled brioche and more.
